Congratulations!  You’re working with someone who is CURIOUS about Jesus and the Gospel.  Your goal with a CURIOUS person is to steward their curiosity and help them transition to belief.  The truth is that genuine conversion isn’t fueled by a person’s curiosity but rather by the call of Jesus on their life.  You’ll need to help CURIOUS people discover that Jesus is calling them.  Let’s get started by getting familiar with the CURIOUS Stage.  What’s a CURIOUS person? Click here for how we define a CURIOUS person and other FAQs.  Once you’re comfortable with the definition, start the following steps:

MAKE SURE THE PERSON YOU ARE WORKING WITH HAS FILLED OUT THE STAGES ONLINE ASSESSMENT FORM. A CURIOUS person may not want to do an assessment yet but if they are willing, it would be worth it.  The assessment will help you understand where they are and what you need to do to help them.  Find the form here.HAVE A CONVERSATION ABOUT GROWTH RHYTHMS.  Not sure what those are?  Growth Rhythms are the regular practices of growing Christians that you’ll want to encourage.  Even someone who is CURIOUS can get started on these rhythms.  Why would they practice the rhythms of a faith they don’t fully believe yet?  Tell them there is no greater way to explore a faith than to practice it.  Perhaps in doing so their curiosity will bloom into faith.  Teach them how to live out the rhythms they are willing to commit to.  Click here to download a conversation guide about Growth Rhythms.
